For fans of European and British brands, it is more profitable to buy a product on Amazon.co.uk, that is, where it is directly produced or where the head office of the manufacturing company is located. Prices on Amazon.de are displayed in euros. Products are offered for sale both by Amazon itself and by third sellers - if you are familiar with the customs of the American branch of the hypermarket, you will not find anything new for yourself.
By the way, if you are already registered on Amazon.com (and, most likely, this is the case), then you will not need to register again: use the same username and password to log into the site. All already entered addresses, card details and other information will be available in your “German” account.
If we compare the German and American branches, we can come to the following conclusions regarding the advantages and disadvantages of the site in Germany.
- For all products VAT is charged- European analogue of VAT; its value varies depending on the product and country of delivery and averages from 7%. You can avoid paying it only by arranging direct international delivery outside the European Union(which is relevant for the Russian Federation). However, the cost of the latter in this case will be quite high and you need to decide which option is more profitable for you. It will no longer be possible to issue a VAT refund retroactively. By default, the price of products is displayed on Amazon.de with tax included, calculated for Germany.

How to change language?
You just need to go to Amazon and select English - the site interface will immediately change to the familiar one (like on Amazon.com), so that when you press various buttons, you don’t have to rely on intuition and a dictionary. Delivery to Russia is possible with Amazon, both standard and expedited. Its cost depends on the weight, dimensions, price of the product and starts from 20 euros. How to search for items available for international direct shipping
