At the bottom there is a button hidden in the body; if you press it, it comes out of the groove. You can attach a strap from the kit to it; it matches the color of the case, in this case red. I want to note one more thing. Previous models were similar to the iPhone 3G, while the fifth-generation iPod Touch is completely different, much like the iPhone 4 was different from other iPhones. Is it good? Certainly. During my use, I encountered several times that the player was mistaken for an iPhone 5, especially when it was lying on the table with the display facing up.

It has the same display as the iPhone 5, 4-inch diagonal, Retina, resolution 1136 x 640 pixels, very nice black color, wonderful viewing angles. I won’t repeat the praises from the “five” review, I’ll just say that among other players, the iPod Touch stands out, and stands out very strongly. There's nothing fancy here. The sound of the iPod Touch is reminiscent of that of the iPhone 5, and the sound of the iPhone 5 is the standard among all smartphones. If you use ALAC and play with the equalizer, you can achieve excellent results - for a universal gadget that is called a player only for marketing reasons. The volume level is very high, the bass is good, there are no substrates, everything is clean and tidy, pleasant to listen to. However, in normal stores you can try Touch yourself with your own headphones - if you replace the EarPods with something larger like the Aiaiai TMA-1, then in this case the sound in no way disappoints. On the contrary, it is surprising. I used to say that everything is good in Apple devices, but the Walkman has better sound, I won’t say that now. Quite the contrary.

In Russia, the player is about to appear in official retail stores; in the US, the version with 32 GB of memory costs $299, 64 GB - $399. Acceptable? In my opinion, yes. The only negative is that the package does not include EarPods with a remote control and microphone. It seems to me that this gadget is clearly not even intended for owners of other Apple devices, but in order to attract a new audience. Let's say, those gentlemen and ladies who adore Android, but are not averse to having a device on iOS-based. For example, to use programs for this OS, or communicate using iMessage. Or he just wants the iPhone 5, but without a phone, in fact, the iPod Touch is just that. It’s difficult to say what to do with it and how to do it. Because there are thousands of application scenarios. The display makes it convenient to watch movies. Good quality sound - let's not forget that the iPod is, first of all, a player. Huge selection of programs. Communication in in social networks. Reading too good function, especially considering that the fifth-generation Touch has a long battery life (forty hours of audio playback is very good). A wonderful feature with a button and straps, I think this will be especially appreciated in Tokyo (and in Japan in general). A good camera for a player; these frames can be safely saved on a computer. It’s just a pity that they didn’t put the camera from the iPhone 4S here. But this doesn’t disappoint me personally either. There's no room in my pocket for an iPod Touch. For such tasks there is the iPhone 5. But I boldly recommend this device to you; Apple got away with it, but made a real candy out of the player - and, in the end, calling a gadget a player is becoming more and more difficult. IS IT WORTH BUYING AN IPOD TOUCH 5?
Let me tell you this: after the currency crisis, the iPod Touch 5 became a very expensive toy. I bought the version with 32 gigabytes for 16 thousand rubles in Svyaznoy - this includes the discount. I saw places where they offer the same thing for 20 thousand rubles. And before the crisis they cost about 10-12 thousand rubles. Is it worth it? Who knows. Very expensive. But I have long wanted to please myself with something from electronics. Moreover, I plan to spend the whole summer mountain biking. And a compact player with a good camera and a large amount of memory is perfect for spontaneous photo and video shooting and for listening to cool music in nature.
I personally have already bought a cool sports uniform and am planning to simply burn off the fat folds that have accumulated over the past few years with napalm. And since I often ride alone, I can’t go anywhere without a player. And again, there will be more juicy photos for the site. An assistant in work that is necessary and much more interesting features and design than those of the most expensive Android smartphones.
CONS OF IPOD TOUCH 5?
I'll tell you what, apart from the high price, there is still something negative about the iPod Touch 5. It's not a very good architecture. You can only download songs and videos through iTunes. Today I spent a long time fiddling around - trying to figure out how to upload banal video clips and banal music to the player. It's not that it's very complicated, but sometimes Mac products lack the simplicity that any similar device from competitors has. For example, when I connect my smartphone, I can easily transfer files both to the phone and back. The iPod doesn't have this by default, but it does have dances with a tambourine. You can get used to this, but if you consider that after each iTunes updates The banal uploading of photos, music and videos back and forth is becoming more and more difficult, and it is becoming unclear why this is done this way.
