Lesson #7. General tips for video editing

This completes the mini-course. If you want to continue your training in this direction, then follow the news, because on January 19 we are releasing the “Super Premiere Pro” course, in which many times more awaits you useful information from Elerzhon Kimsanov - a practitioner with 15 years of experience.

Best regards, Evgeniy Popov.

Welcome to the mini training course on Adobe Premiere Pro. The author of the course, Elerzhon Kimsanov, will tell and show how to create and edit your video in three buttons. Watch the mini course “Video Editing Basics in Adobe Premiere Pro.”

Elerzhon Kimsanov, the author of the Adobe Premiere Pro course, has been editing for more than 15 years, and then in 2000 the program from Adobe Premiere 5 was more or less functional. Compared to 2016, then there was not such an abundance of educational video courses and video lessons in Russian. There was no stability then good internet, and even more so video hosting. The only way to learn how to work with the program was electronic literature in English.

Subsequently, Elergeon used other programs for . Over the years, working in programs, you realize that many functions are simply not used. The purpose of this mini-course “Basics of Video Editing in Adobe Premiere Pro” is to give you practically everything that is required in practice in working with the Adobe Premiere Pro program. Why this is so, but because you will encounter in practice a specific task that we did not consider in this mini course. then it will take you about ten minutes to figure out how to work with it.

In the past the most convenient program for video editing, according to Elerzhon Kimsanov, it was Apple program Final Cut Pro 7. But then the company closed this direction and no longer updated it, and technology does not stand still and we had to look for an alternative. In search of a convenient and functional program, the author of the mini course began to look for options, but then he did not consider the option of working with Adobe Premiere. Since this was the first program in which he started working with video editing and understood all its logic of work, it was a very simple primitive tool for video.

But, like any program, Adobe Premiere Pro has a huge number of functions that, unfortunately, are not used in practice. This training course has been designed to give you practical tool, so that you can edit your video. In order for you to learn how to mount, it is enough to learn how to press three buttons - this concerns the technical part of the work. But the much more difficult part is the creative part of editing.

We hope that this mini course by Elerzhon Kimsanov will help you learn the basics of the program and, most importantly, learn how to edit your video. Watch the training course on our portal, do not forget to recommend to friends and subscribe to our social groups.

Which Adobe Premiere Pro courses are best to choose?

It's no secret that in Lately video is becoming an integral part of the life of a modern person. More and more people are faced with the need to process captured audio and video material. Of course, high-quality video editing and post-processing is a rather labor-intensive process. Therefore, you cannot do without special tools that will make this work as easy as possible. Premiere Pro from Adobe is the ideal tool for processing a variety of video content.

If you want to find quality training Adobe Premiere Pro courses You should know the main disadvantages of offline courses:

  1. Offline courses are conducted for large groups of people at the same time. During such group classes, many students do not have time to learn all the material, since there is quite a lot of information.
  2. Only a few people are able to quickly perceive new material. Everyone's learning speed is different, so many students simply cannot keep up with others.
  3. Very often, in Premiere Pro courses, they conduct a so-called “reading” of the material. Listeners must have time to remember (write down) all the information, because no one will repeat it individually for everyone. Personal consultations are already individual training, and it is quite expensive.

You can continue to list the disadvantages of offline courses for Adobe Premiere Pro, but you would like to find a solution to the problem, and not read about what difficulties exist. Today, the most effective option for studying any program is the video training format. Here you can go through a full one.

I told you about what I use to shoot my videos. But making a video is only half the battle.

Next, the captured video still needs to be processed. Remove everything unnecessary, add a splash screen, combine it with audio if you record it separately, make color correction, increase sharpness, and ultimately output the result to the final video file in a format suitable for further use.

For these purposes, I use a combination of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Audition.

Adobe Premiere Pro is a basic video processing tool. All installation work is carried out in this program. After Effects is used for
effects (remove green background, add special effects, etc.), Adobe Audition for sound processing.

Having studied this bundle of programs well, you will be able to make high-quality videos for your projects. These could be videos for your YouTube channel, for paid courses, or videos for your landing pages.

I'm often asked to recommend some educational materials on this topic, so today I want to recommend something really worthwhile to you.

Why is Adobe Premiere Pro training so popular?

Now video has become a part of people's daily lives. Therefore, video editing skills are required not only by professionals, but also by amateurs. The program is used to quickly and easily process video and audio content.

It has an intuitive interface and a solid set of tools with which you can solve a variety of problems. But in order to freely use the wide capabilities of the program, you need to undergo special training in Adobe Premiere.

There are many training options, including traditional offline courses. But those who want to choose this method for themselves should be aware of several disadvantages of the method.

  • Courses involve teaching large groups of people. When studying in a noisy classroom, you may not be able to hear or have time to write down the necessary information.
  • The programs of such courses are built without taking into account individual abilities to assimilate information. There is a high risk of falling behind the group, feeling tired and losing concentration.
  • The speed of presentation of the material may be too fast - if you do not understand an important point, the teacher will not return to it again.
  • Additional classes and consultations are possible, but for an additional fee. And individual training in Adobe Premier Pro costs a lot.

This training format is optimal for some, but it cannot be considered the most effective. But there are significant advantages to another way of learning the program - video lessons.

  1. During the lessons, explanations are made using practical examples. Therefore, you will remember information quickly and easily.
  2. Before your eyes is the sequence of stages of work and the final result. Using this algorithm, you can easily work independently.
  3. Any video can be reviewed as many times as necessary until the material is completely mastered. Forgotten moments can always be quickly refreshed in your memory.
  4. You determine the time frame for training yourself. There are no strict deadlines - you work in a mode that is comfortable for you.

This training format is simple and accessible to everyone. A large number of materials can be found on the website
