Hello, dear admins. Today I’ll tell you how you can install it in your group. Spring has come, I want to shake myself up, bring something new into my life and surroundings. I decided to change all my groups from boring standard themes into new fashionable personal skins.
It’s always nice, when you enter a group, to see an unusual individual design theme, instead of the tired set of Odnoklassniki. And if the content in this group is good, then the visiting member is drawn to join. So, how do you add your own theme to a group?
First of all, it is worth saying that only groups of more than 10,000 participants. This is a little unfair to baby bands. Alas, until they grow up they will not see a new wrapper.
To my shame my group ALL ABOUT CHILDREN
has already grown to 230 thousand participants, and until that time it contained one of the standard topics. And then one fine day I realized that I urgently needed to change something and decided to make my own design theme. 
So I click on the multi-colored circle in the corner, which offers to decorate the group page. And I find myself in the themes section where I am offered to upload my own theme for the group. 
But not everything is so simple. The theme consists of 3 parts that I have to create and upload. 
So, you need a Main picture with dimensions: 1340*320 pixels, this picture has legs 200 pixels wide, the cutout height is not specified, but empirically I calculated that it is about 180 pixels. There is monstrously little space for the artist’s imagination to run wild; you have to somehow fit in the unfortunate remaining 140 pixels.
Next we have a Repeating Page Background 320*320 pixels. And cover theme for the catalog: 240*90. All these sizes are very easy to obtain in graphics editor, I work in photoshop. I know this program very superficially, but even my meager knowledge is enough to create a topic. Perhaps, with skill, it can be done even in Paint.
I don’t consider myself a super designer, I just wanted to make something of my own, cute, gentle and warm, suitable for a children’s group. I took the inscription from my website, a delicate background with carrot bunnies from Google images, cute babies are png images with a transparent background.
I had to suffer for a long time with the Repeating background, which did not want to fit with the desired joint, so that the seams between it and the main picture would not be visible. You will notice this defect (if any) during the preliminary sample of the theme upon loading. This is convenient because in case of any inconsistencies, the topic can be edited. 
My cover for the catalog theme is very simple, because it will only be visible to me, and there is no point in making it beautiful. Moreover, I was pretty exhausted while doing the previous two parts. 
When all 3 parts are ready, all that remains is to upload them to your group on Odnoklassniki. 
After downloading, see how the theme will look in Preview. If something is wrong, click back, make changes to the theme, and upload again. 
If everything suits you, click on further. 
You will need to come up with a name. I didn't think too hard about it. A nice title and a nice catalog cover are essential if you want to make your theme accessible to the public. Then check the box so that the topic appears for all users. I only need her in my group. When everything is done, submit the topic for moderation.
After some time (about 24 hours for me), the theme was approved and I received a notification that I could install it. Install and enjoy a fresh individual theme! Please note that now in each group Odnoklassniki is selling gift badges, and their inscription may cover part of your design. This is not visible in the preview.
