I faced the same problem. I tried everything, but nothing completely solved the problem. Finally visited service center and they fixed it. They said that some kind of malfunction in the digitizer under the back button started, as if the back button was pressed when the device reaches a certain temperature.

One thing you can try: (If you have user rights) Enable on-screen navigation buttons and disable regular touch buttons and see if the problem persists. Mine was only a month old, so I went to the service center.

Had the same problem. I did a factory reset which didn't solve anything, I tried the code that resets the sensitivity touch screen. There's no joy in this Hardware. If your phone is under warranty, take it back. My camera was wrong, a local repair shop took it too. They replaced the strip that runs around the perimeter of my cell. This strip contains sensors on the bottom of the cell and on the side, as well as the charger port.

I wouldn't think of this as a software issue because if you did a factory reset, that should iron out most of the kinks in the OS. And this is not limited to S6 only, as was reported back in S4.
