Looking ahead, we note that the optimal way is still to work with BlueStacks. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, the Android emulator allows you to work with Instagram fully - not just add photos, but use all the capabilities of the service, just like on a smartphone screen.
Secondly, Gramblr is very unstable (although BlueStacks is not ideal in this regard). There are frequent complaints from users about the blocking of accounts they worked with through Gramblr. By the way, another common complaint is the blocking of hashtags in the accounts of users uploading photos through this program.
However, there are also negative reviews online, so if for some reason you want to work with the application and not the emulator, try it.
How to post a photo to Instagram from a computer using BlueStacks?

- After authorization, click on the “Search” button and enter “Instagram” in the line;
- Download and install Instagram - exactly the same as you would do on a mobile gadget by clicking on the “Install” button. The program will be available through the emulator interface; it can also be launched through a separate shortcut in Windows.
If you have problems switching to the English layout, go to “Settings” and add an English keyboard through the corresponding menu item.
How to add a photo? It’s extremely simple: just drag the desired image stored on your computer directly into the emulator window. At the same time, BlueStacks will offer you a choice of Android application into which to import the photo.

There are versions for Windows and for computers running OSX. The installation does not contain any secrets or subtleties. How to work with the program? The algorithm is simple.
- Enter your Instagram username and password when logging into the application.

There are, however, a number of disadvantages, in addition to those already mentioned at the beginning of the article. Despite the ability to insert a description of a photo with hashtags in the Caption field, it often does not work correctly.
Therefore, it is difficult to recommend Grumble as the best way to upload photos to Instagram from a computer - we advise using this program only if it is not possible to work with the emulator described above. The only real advantage of Gramblr is that it is easier and faster to use than BlueStacks, but instability and limited features largely reduce it to nothing.

On a note! The advantages of this method are that it is free and does not require the installation of a third-party application or plugin. But there are also disadvantages - not all Instagram features are available through the website. Uplet is one of the easiest options if you're using a Mac. This is a paid third party application available in the Mac App Store.
It is extremely easy to use. All you have to do is drag the photos onto the program panel, fill out the remaining fields and click on the “Submit” button.
You can upload multiple photos or videos at once (each uploaded as a separate post). It doesn't have filters or advanced editing features.

This is a desktop application for interacting with Instagram. There are versions for PC and Mac. The reason "interoperability" was used is because there are two versions that allow different things, although this is not as clear as the application documentation might make it.
The free version acts as an Instagram viewer, so you can do things like view images, add comments, and add photos. To actually upload and tag photos or videos, you'll need to upgrade to the Pro version for $2.99 per month. (Video downloading is not available on Windows version.)
The screen looks like an older version of the Instagram mobile app and works in essentially the same way—it's essentially an emulator. It does not have scheduling or batch loading options.
There are several official and not so official ways to add photos to Instagram from your computer or laptop that you can use. But: I don’t recommend using completely unofficial Instagram clients, it could be potentially unsafe for your account.
The official Instagram application has recently appeared in the Windows 10 app store, which also allows you to add photos or videos to your page. The app can be easily found by searching the app store.
After downloading the application and logging into your account (in my test, for some reason, you could only log in using your email and not your username), follow these simple steps:
As noted above, Instagram for Windows 10 requires a webcam. However, there is a way around this: if you install a virtual webcam program (I used e2eSoft VCam), the application will assume that the camera is present and allows you to publish. Also, when testing the application, for some reason it worked very unstable for me.
How to add photos to Instagram from a computer using the official mobile application
Another guaranteed and working way today to post a photo or video on Instagram with only a computer is to use the official Android application running on the computer.
To run the Instagram Android application on your computer, you will need third-party software - an Android emulator for Windows or another OS. You can find a list of free emulators and official sites where you can download them in the review: (will open in a new tab).
In the BlueStacks 2 emulator (official website: https://www.bluestacks.com/ru/index.html), uploading photos and videos from your computer to Instagram is even easier: just like in the method just described, you will first need to install the application itself , and then the steps will look like this:
Note: I consider BlueStacks secondarily and in less detail, because I don’t really like the fact that this emulator does not allow you to use it without entering your Google account information. You can work in Nox App Player without it.
